SYSTEMS ENGINEER - RC ENGINEERING ENTHUSIAST
We are looking for someone to fit into our team as follows:
This would be someone with enthusiasm and an ability of picking things up quickly, to join an exciting team working on some interesting technology but has a passion for making stuff fly!
You need to have:
Good low-level (i.e. a fundamental understanding of electronics) e.g. what an ESC does, and how stuff works
High calibre electronics skills
Office based at Havant
If you’re someone who has tinkered within the RC/model/drone industry for many a year, enjoys working with others, low-level coding and programming and hasn’t big financial commitments then this could be for you.
There are many people out there who love to talk in abstract and at a high level but are always looking for someone further down the food chain to dump the actual hard work onto. We aren’t looking for that.
We need someone who has good CNC skills, understands lower level electronics, and the fundamentals of why/how stuff works, getting 'off the shelf' RC models flying quickly and cheaply.
They would for instance be capable of debugging ESCs and Newtons per Watt wind tunnel testing and analysis, perhaps even building drones themselves. There are some very challenging projects we are involved with and so it needs a creative mind that can buy into a strategy but is a doer that takes the initiative.
